Get To Know Me
My name is Talis Moody. I'm a Cleveland State Community College graduate and an animal enthusiast. I started my pet care business in Cleveland Tennessee. When I'm not working, I'm usually pursuing my passion in art, writing, or hiking. I created Talis & Tails because I believe that our pets are family, and family shouldn't have compromised care just because you have to be away from home.

I grew up with 12 animals in my home, some common and some exotic, so caring for all sorts of companions was normal to me. As I got older, I began volunteering in kenneling, where I learned about animal care on a professional level. On top of that, I also foster newborn kittens and took care of senior pets, where I learned how to handle all sorts of special needs. All of this culminated in the creation of Talis & Tails, which allows me to combine everything I love about animal care into one business!
What Inspired Talis & Tails?
Through talking with pet owners, I realized there aren't enough reliable pet-sitting businesses to go around. It's my aim to eliminate the stress that comes with animal care. I never want my clients to worry about the in-laws doing you a favor they're sure to make you regret later, or having to beg a friend to pop by after work. I took my idea to Cleveland State Community College, and they rewarded me with money to get started and feedback on my idea. With that, Talis & Tails was born. As an animal lover and business major, I combined my two loves and created the most reliable pet sitting around.
